Rate the ugliest animal

LiveScience is holding a "rate the ugliest animal contest." It's a nice little time-killer. They forget, however, to mention that 1=not so ugly, 5=pretty damn ugly. There you go. Once again, I have to step up and do someone elses job for them.

By the way, if you vote for either the Rhino or Manatee as ugly, I will never speak to you again.

Just watched the last two weeks of 24 in a glorious two-hour period. It's the best two consecutive hours I've had all year. How sad is that.

Damn it, Soulpatch, just when you get me on your side... what's with throwing a block Kiefer's way? You're talking to his girlfriend and then get all, "Jack likes field work, he won't change, some people prefer hell, etc." Nice. Nice work, dude. Way to be the wingman.

Thank christ Chloe's back. If they killed off every character on the show and renamed '24' the "Jack and Chloe Hour," I'd still watch every episode AND buy the damn DVD. Jesus, I've half a mind to get a bunch of screen captures and devote a page on Maximum Awesome to Chloe's pouty faces.

Adsense Nonsense

The Google Adsense advertising service works by pulling key words from the text on page and matching appropriate ads. On Maximum Awesome, it seems to think all my references to Hasbro's Transformers are instead references to power transformers (stuff that has to do with electricity). I don't plan on doing anything to change this.

Perhaps my frequent G.I. Joe references will solicit Army recruitment ads. I can only hope.
